Training Facility

LHSC was designed from the start to function also as a training facility for the hospitality and catering industry and is registered with FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council) to offer programmes leading to FETAC awards in the National Framework of Qualifications. One of the Centre's main strengths in the area of training is the emphasis placed on the practical implementation of theory, which ensures that LHSC graduates become very competent professionals. Students have many opportunities of being involved in hosting events in the adjacent Conference Centres, which gives great variety of experience.
